Born in Philadelphia in 1960, she was the daughter of Patricia Murray Ford and Richard Ford. Leslie was the oldest resident at St. Joseph's Center, having lived there since 1977.
Leslie leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, her father, and her stepmother, Camillia Greer-Ford, aunt Roberta Greer, seven nephews, three nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her friends and staff at St. Joseph's Center.
Also surviving are sisters, Dierdre Ford, Desiree Montague and Charisse Ford; a brother, Richard K. Ford; and a stepbrother, Malcolm Greer.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of St. Joseph's Center for the care shown to Leslie during the years she lived at the center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 11 a.m. in the chapel at St. Joseph's Center, 2010 Adams Ave., Scranton. Interment, St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
