David Edward Waymire, age 55 of Elwood, died July 11, 2011 at his residence following a sudden illness.
David was born May 2, 1956 in Elwood, the son of Edward D. and Betty L. (Elder) Waymire. He was a Maintenance Electrician at Delco Electronics in Kokomo for over 30 years, and retired in 2005.
David was a 1974 graduate of Elwood Community High School and received certification from the ITT Technical Institute. He also attended Purdue University. He was a former member of the Quincy Masonic Lodge in Elwood and the Elwood Elks Lodge #368. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. David was an avid NASCAR and Purdue fan; liked Harley Davidson Motorcycles; and loved the mountains.
David was preceded in death by his Father - Edward D. Waymire.
