Maxine was employed with Homewood Nursing Home and Somerford Place as a care giver.
She was a member of Amvets Post 10 and the Redman. She was a faithful donor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Humane Society of the U.S.
Maxine is survived by two daughters, Diana Collins and Rose Penwell; a son, Franks Collins; a brother, Donald Hott of Paw Paw, WV; 6 grandchildren, Nikki, Derek, Jessica, Ashley, David and Tyler; 11 great grandchildren, Jordan and Ariel, Devin and Colin, Beau and Adalynn, Savannah, Kai X.D. and Remy, Emmalynn and Aidan and faithful companion her cat, Baby.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Collins.
A funeral service will be held Minnich Funeral Home,Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
