Joyce Ann Cole, 74, of Seymour, IN, passed away Sunday September 2, 2018. She was born April 30, 1944 in Huntington, WV to the late Leslie Otis Spears and Florence Roach Stoller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law David and Connie Spears. She is survived by her loving partner, John Godby; three children Tracy (Tabitha) Spears of Houston, TX, Terry (Paula) Spears of Huntington, WV, and Robert (Shanda) Cole of Kenova, WV; nine grandchildren, Allison, Hannah, Joey, Sophie, David, Aiden, Andrew, Gracie, and Maddie; and three siblings Carolyn (Charles) Richardson, Daniel (Denise) Spears, and Joe (Angie) Spears. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday September 14, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday September 14, 2018 at the funeral home. Joyce was a 1963 Huntington East High School graduate and was a Christian. She was a member of VFW post #1925 in Seymour, IN, enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, sewing, crocheting, making afghans, and sitting on the front porch, visiting with friends and family.
