JoAnn Agnes Watson passed away on September 6, 2018. She was 66 years old. Loving wife of the late Burley “Douglas” Watson. Beloved mother of Jodi Adams (Michael), Don Watson (Renee), and Douglas Watson (Katie). Grandmother of Jonathon Steel (Kristen), Shirelle Montalbano, Sasha Steel (Seth), Gabriel Watson, Gavin Watson, Adelyn Watson and 5 great-grandchildren. Sister of Yvonne Brown, Diane Greer and Dinah Letellier, and aunt of 8 nieces and nephews. JoAnn was a diehard Elvis fan, and enjoyed gardening, flowers and puzzles. She was an active member of Life Gate Church, in Mandeville, and was never happier than when spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was much loved, and will be forever missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held for JoAnn on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE ST, in Chalmette. A funeral service in her honor will be held at 11:00 AM.
She will be laid to rest in Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.
