Catherine Sue Williamson was born on December 28, 1947 in Pensacola, Florida and died on March 16, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 70. She is preceded in death by her mother and father Charles Varnon Price and Harriet Virginia Price. She is survived by her son Kevin Crain and her daughter Rebecca (Zackary) Teater; sister Cheri Ott; brother Michael Price; nieces Heather (John) Pike, Victoria (Chris) Allen, and Allison (Ross) Ozley, grandsons Gabe and Sam Teater and granddaughter Chloe Teater; great-nieces and nephews Grace, Cailin, Gabe, Macy, Eli, Noah, Hadley, and Presley.
Cathie graduated in 1965 from Westerville High School before it became known as Westerville South High School today. She worked for Chase in Westerville for the past 16 years and loved all the people she worked with. Prior to that, Cathie spent time working at Worthington Industries where she also created lasting friendships.
When football season rolled around, Cathie was always cheering for her Ohio State Buckeyes! O-H-I-O! She would wear her Ohio State Buckeye gear every Saturday and centered her weekend around being able to watch the games. However, if the game was down to the end and the score was too close - she would turn the TV off. It was too hard for her to watch her Buckeyes lose!
Some of Cathie's other joys included Christmas at The Morgan House, going to the movies, meeting friends for dinner, watching Mama Mia, and shopping for a good deal.
Cathie was always caring for others and going out of her way to make sure others were okay before herself. She cared deeply for her children, but her love for her grandchildren was immeasurable. To say that they were her world is an understatement. She was the best grandma and did what every grandma should do - spoil them rotten. Even when Rebecca and her family moved to Atlanta, she continued to send them something for every holiday and could make her grandchildren laugh over the phone just by threatening to come and tickle them! Cathie was immensely grateful to her friends Rosalyn and Becky who helped Cathie make the trip to Atlanta last year to see her grandchildren whom she missed dearly.
Cathie's smile, caring nature, and love for her family will be tremendously missed.
Cathie's final remains will be cremated and the urn will be placed in a mausoleum (cremation niche) where she can be visited.
