Lisa Abbott
Lisa Jo Abbott, 54, of Madison, Indiana, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2018, at her home in Madison, Indiana.
She was born July 25, 1964, in Madison, to Bobby Allen Abbott and Donna Jean Bennett Abbott Tucker. She resided most of her life in Madison and was a 1982 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. She played basketball in junior high and worked at the Long John Silvers Restaurant during high school. For the past 17 years she had primarily worked at Arvin Sango in Madison. She enjoyed her friends, socializing, her animals, was an avid fan of Tennessee Volunteers sports and enjoyed listening and playing music.
Survivors include her father of Milton, Kentucky; her sisters, Ronda Stenger of Madison, Indiana, Pamela K. Gibson of Tallahassee, Florida and Denise Basham of Madison; her brothers, Marcus “Allen” Abbott of Madison, Jason Tucker of Lexington, Indiana and Joshua Tucker of Canaan, Indiana; her grandmother, Zelma Abbott of Bedford, Kentucky; her former stepdad, Dennis Michael Tucker of Canaan; her former stepmother, Loy Skirvin of Madison; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents, Harry and Mary Stoner Bennett, Glenn “Dempsey” and Kathryn Tucker.
Graveside services will be at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, at the Springdale Cemetery in downtown Madison.
