She was born Oct. 31, 1924, in Morristown, TN, daughter of the late Richard Franklin Brady and Zolla Emmaline (Cobble) Brady.
Frances worked as a retail sales clerk and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Norma Sue (Eugene) Thompson, OK, Gloria Jean (Jerry) Newberry, Crossville, Zolla Kay (William J.) Baker, Rockwood, and Kathy Marie (Johnny) Morgan, Nashville. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Curtis Cox; brother, Hal Leonard Brady; and sisters, Edith Williams and Alma B. Holt.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Sept. 6, with Bro. Jeff Slayton officiating. Interment in Pomona Cemetery.
