He was born on September 19, 1956 in Lebanon, Kentucky. Mr. Mattingly was an employee of the Springfield Housing Authority.

Parents: Joseph “Toad” and Anna Belle O’Daniel Mattingly.
Two Brothers: Joseph “Chub” Mattingly, Bobby Mattingly.

Wife: Jean Osbourne Mattingly—Lebanon.
Two Daughters: Amanda (Walter) Ballard;
Melissa Mattingly (Fiancé: Ben Harris)—both of Lebanon.
Son: Stuart Mattingly—Bardstown.
Three Granddaughters: Sophie, Lilly, and Evelyn Ballard.
