A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend went to his eternal home on Monday, January 8, 2018. After graduating from Woodlawn High School, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Mispillion during the Korean War. After serving his country, Henry made a career with Copolymer Rubber & Chemical Company where he served as a Supervisor and later retired. He was a member of The American Legion Post 0178 in Denham Springs. He leaves behind to cherish his memories four sons; John R. Stephens and wife Dee Dee, Joseph T. Stephens and wife Pam, Kelvin May (wife's son not biological) and wife Joan, Denis May (wife's son not biological) and wife Pat; three daughters, Victoria S. Ivey and Husband Daniel, Deborah S. Rothman and husband Todd, Saundra S. Zaher and fiancé Michael Wilkinson; fifteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and many friends. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 10am until Celebration of Life Service at 12pm. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Joyce Gaudin Stephens; parents, Ollie Womack Stephens and Oliver Averett Stephens; four sisters, Ebba Smith, Myrna Williamson, Ester Webb, Dollie Stephens; seven brothers, Kirby Stephens, J. G. "Gene" Stephens, Aaron Stephens, Carey Stephens, Donald "Donnie" Stephens, Ira Stephens and Preston Stephens. ..
