GEORGE MURIE DIES HERE WEDNESDAY
Following a complication of diseases, George Murie, father of Mrs. George Wilson, of this city, passed away at the home of his daughter at 5:30 o'clock Wednesday morning, following five months of serious illness, at the ripe old age of eighty-three years.
The deceased was born Dec. 14th, 1884, in Scotland, coming to America in 1948, locating with his family in St. Louis, Missouri. Then years later moved to Nebraska, where he had made his home until 1923, since time making his home with his daughter.
He came to Green River two years ago from Denver with his daughter, where he has made his home up to the time of his death, and where he and his good wife have made many friends during their residence here.
He leaves to mourn his departure from this life, a wife, two daughters, and three sons, who have the sympathy of all in their hour of great sorrow.
The remains were prepared for burial by Undertaker N. K. Deputy, of the Green River Mercantile Co., and taken on train No. 18 Wednesday evening to Columbus, Nebraska for interment.
