Amy Lee Newton, 45, of Cox's Creek, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 9, 1972, in Bardstown and was employed at Amazon
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Lee "Petty" Newton; her maternal grandparents, C.E. and Nora Belle Ballard; and her paternal grandparents, Sam and Thelma Newton.

She is survived by one daughter, Camille Goodman of Cox's Creek; her father, Ruben Newton of Cox's Creek; one brother, Francis R. (Cathy) Newton Jr. of Bardstown; one niece, Courtney Newton of Bardstown; one nephew, Jonathan Newton of Cox's Creek; three great-nieces and nephews, Ellie, Barrett and Kayelyn; close family friends, Corey and Pamela Dean; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home. Burial is at a later date at St. Gregory Cemetery with the Rev. Peter Do officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
