Murial Jean Allen, age 82 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 12th at Bledsoe Creek State Park, 400 Zieglers Fort Road, Gallatin, TN 37066, in Pavilion #2 at 1:30 p.m., with Bro. Danny Raines officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Avenue, Gallatin, TN 37066, and Wednesday, September 12th from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. at Bledsoe Creek State Park. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Chuck Proffitt, Larry Hammock, Harry Hammock, Barry Draper, Joe David Satterfield, and Jay Chambers serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Longview Missionary Baptist Church Sunday School Class, Rick Templeton, and Garry Pickard. Mrs. Allen was born January 11, 1936 in Gallatin to the late Therman G. Brown and Clara Avarlee Piper. She is survived by husband of 64 years, Carlos Lee Allen, Jr.; daughters, Vickie Willoughby of Gallatin, Suzanne Hesson (Eddie) of Gallatin, and Cindy Brazel (Kevin) of Westmoreland; brother, Tommy Brown (Peggy) of VA; sisters, Helen Perigo of Castalian Springs and Carol Chambers of Gallatin; 5 grandchildren, Lee Willoughby (Stacey), Jeremy Willoughby (Lauren), Brandon Hesson (Nikki), Ashley Hesson Jackson (Brad), and Hazel Brazel; and 6 great grandchildren, Eli Willoughby, Vera Willoughby, Arthur Willoughby, Carter Jackson, Miles Jackson, and Knox Hesson.
