Kenai resident CONNIE NOREEN MCDANIEL, 57, died Oct. 20, 2002, at Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna. A graveside service was held at the Kenai City Cemetery.
Ms. McDaniel was born Sept. 17, 1945, in Texas. She moved to Kenai in the early 1990s. Her friends stated: ''Connie loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. Connie loved life. She always was there to help others and was a shoulder to lean on. She was the best friend a person could have. Connie will be missed by all.''
She is survived by her son, Thomas Henry McDaniel-Puentes; her fiance, John Happe; brother, Larry; sister, Lisa; and nephews, Larry, Michael, Robert, Cody and Charles. Peninsula Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
