He was active in community programs such as the Rialto Historical Society, Friends of Rialto Police K-9’s, and the Sidney A. Jones Sr. Scholarship committee. He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Sidney III (Robin) Jones; granddaughters, Brittney, Skyler and Megan Jones; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Sidney Sr. and Barbara Neil Jones. The visitation on September 20, 2018, 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and the chapel service on September 21, 2018, 10:00 A.M at Montecito Memorial Park, Cypress Chapel 2145 Barton Rd, Loma Linda, Ca 92354
