Harry M. Cook Sr., 85, of West Windsor, and formerly of Kingston, NJ, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, at home.

Born in Kingston, NJ, he retired from Princeton Nurseries after a 40-plus year career. He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the Army as a medic. Harry was a founding member of the Kingston First Aid and Rescue Squad. He was also a member of the Kingston Volunteer Fire Company. He was a former member and trustee of the Kingston Methodist Church.

The son of the late George Cook Sr. and Susan Applegate Cook, and husband of the late Alice Danbury Cook, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Loraine Cook of Ewing; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Bruce Curatola of Texas; five grandchildren, Brian and Brandon Cook and his fiancee, Bianca Brower, Douglas, Gregory, and Ryan Curatola, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m., at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Rd., Pennington, with the Rev. Daniel Casselberry, pastor of the Pennington United Methodist Church, officiating. The viewing will be Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service. The burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Condolences are welcome at www.wilsonapple.com.
