Ralph James Fagan Sr., 74, 607 Mount Vernon Ave., Huntingdon, Smithfield Township, died at 10:38 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.

Born Aug. 3, 1944, in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late William E. Sr. and Frieda (Emigh) Fagan. He was united in marriage to the former Barbara E. Lemin. Mrs. Fagan survives at their home.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Fagan is survived by a daughter and son, Tammy Jo Fagan of Saxton and Ralph James Fagan Jr. and wife, Shanna, of Vine Grove, Kentucky; and four grandchildren, Kody Weaver of Pittsburgh, Kayley Leavelle of Saxton and Airyk Fagan and Raithan Fagan, both of Vine Grove, Kentucky.

He is also survived by four siblings, William E. Fagan Jr. and wife, Linda, of Tampa, Florida, Judy Ramsey of Florida, Dan Fagan Sr. of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Kim Lodenstein of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother, Mary F. Fagan and Sam Fagan.

Mr. Fagan served in the United States Army National Guard with Troop K, 3rd Recon Squadron of the 104th Armored Cavalry.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 223, the William P. Spyker American Legion Post 520 in Alexandria and Standing Stone VFW Post 1754 in Huntingdon.

During his life, Mr. Fagan worked in construction with L.C. Anderson and H. T. Reynolds at one time.

He enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon, with the Rev. Benjamin Grove officiating. Interment will be made in the Trough Creek Baptist Cemetery, Calvin.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.
