Francis B. "Nick" Klein, 80, of New Holland passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Born in Holidaysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Madeline (Frank) and John Klein. He was the husband and partner of his loving wife Lois (Stumm) Klein, with whom he shared over 60 years of marriage.

Nick graduated from the Wiedner University formerly PA Military College with a degree in Finance and Engineering. He continued his career in construction in Philadelphia, working most notably on projects such as the Wildwood Convention Center, Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center. He retired as the Director of Construction for NJSEA in 2001. He was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church in Norristown, PA. He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Warren Lodge in Collegeville, PA. In his free time, Nick enjoyed dancing with his wife Lois, hunting at the Haneyville, PA camp with the "Road Hunters" and fishing offshore in Avalon, NJ. He also enjoyed watching westerns. He was an avid Phillies, Eagles and Jets fan. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his loving family and his dog Molly.

In addition to his wife, Lois, Nick is survived by his daughters Jennifer (Michael) Hopper of New Holland and Mariela (Walter) Lalame Rosero of Quito, Ecquador; 3 grandchildren: Nicole (Cris Killion) Hopper of New Holland, Greg Klein of Eagleville and Megan (Michael Lucas) Hopper of New Holland; a sister-in-law Gertrude Klein of Williamsburg, VA as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Leslie Klein, a son, James Klein and his brother John "Jack" Klein.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 1PM to 5PM at The New Holland American Legion Post 662, 35 S. Hoover Ave., New Holland, PA 17557. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nick's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
