Susie "Gail" Walker was born December 10, 1939 in Pike County, Alabama to Maud Stinson Paul and William Lochrain Paul. She passed away September 3, 2018 at her son’s home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

Gail grew up in Henderson, Alabama and she attended school in Goshen where she graduated. After graduation she moved to Montgomery, Alabama where she went to work for Huntington College in printing and publication. A few years after moving to Montgomery she married Grover Cleveland Logan and had one son before divorcing 5 years after his birth. Gail continued her work at Huntington College where she met Oscar P. Walker and later, they were married. Gail and Oscar had one daughter and continued to reside in Montgomery. In 1981 Gail and her husband Oscar moved to Elk City, Oklahoma where she got a job as dispatcher for the Elk City Police Department until her divorce in 1988. Gail and her daughter then spent many years living in Oklahoma City until returning to Elk City in 2001. Upon returning to Elk City Gail worked at various jobs including Braum’s and Super 8 Motel. Gail’s hobbies included sewing, bingo and spoiling grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her 3 brothers, Stinson Paul, William Paul and Donald Paul all of Henderson, Alabama. 2 sisters, Elizabeth Duncan of Montgomery, Alabama and Violet Hicks of Henderson, Alabama.

She is survived by one son, Paul Logan and wife, Valerie of Cheyenne, OK, one daughter, Susie Walker of Elk City, OK, 1 stepson, Oscar "Opie" Walker and wife, Aletha of Oklahoma City, OK, 6 grandchildren Megan Campbell and husband, Trey, Elk City, OK, Crystal Ogle and husband, Will, Oklahoma City, OK, Joshua Logan, Sayre, OK, Garrett Logan and wife, Meagan, Cheyenne, OK, Rachel and Samantha Walker Oklahoma City, OK; 7 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Wake, Kadence, Avery, Jaxon, Lillian and Bentley.
