Services were held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Ward United Pentecostal Church in Lucedale for Mrs. Bernice Marie Jenkins, age 97, who passed away September 8, 2018 at Glen Oaks Nursing Center. Rev. Mike Meadows, Rev. Leo Burge and Rev. Bobby Lambert officiated with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
Mrs. Bernice was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Ham; second husband, Shelby Jenkins; son, Bobby Ham; grandsons, Robbie Ham and Ricky Ham.
Survived by her son, Buddy (Carolyn) Ham of Richland; Daughter, Wanda (Bo) Clark of Lucedale; grandchildren, Jimmy (Amy) Ham, Vickie (Jerry) Ham Sayers, Jonathan Talley, Amber (Leo) Burge, Joshua Talley; great-grandchildren, Payton, Lauren, Brennan, Miranda, Seth, Brynlee, Braelyn and Bella-Grace.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Jenkins received the gift of the Holy Ghost in 1957 and lived her life for God since then. She was a member of the Bogalusa First United Pentecostal Church. Visitation was Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Ward United Pentecostal Church in Lucedale from 12:00 PM.. to 2:00 P.M.
Pallbearers were Joshua Talley, Malcomb Clark, Byron "Bo" Clark Sr., Byron "Bo Bo" Clark Jr., Brody Hicks and Brayden Hicks.
