Dorothy was born November 17, 1927, in Toledo to Henry and Frances (Majschzak) Krolak.
She was employed by Lamson Bros. as a buyer for more than 25 years and retired from JC Penney in 1995.
Dorothy was a life member of the Women's Auxiliary of VFW #606 and a longtime member of the Cooley Canal Yacht Club.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy also was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Elmer H. Cottrell and sister, Henrietta Drogmiller.
