Restivo, Harriet (nee Caswell), 89, died on September 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Harriet was born in Newark and was a resident of North Arlington for over 50 years. She was a Children's Aide for SACC, North Arlington for 11 years. Harriet is survived by her loving children, Linda Edwards & her husband Gary, Greg Restivo and Rick Restivo, by her dear grandsons, Gary Edwards & his wife, Michelle and Nick Edwards & his wife, Susanne; especially dear friend for 62 years of Mike & Julie Merle; by her Great Granddogs Diesel & Zeus. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was known as the Original Energizer Bunny, she loved Bingo, playing cards with family and friends and especially her Pick Its & Scratch Offs. She took great pride in serving holiday meals and will be missed by her friends at Fisher's Cafe.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday September 5, 2018 from 4 - 8 PM. All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday September 6 at 9 AM, then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 1000 Dept 142, Memphis TN 38101-9908.
