Bryan Mosley

Actor. He appeared in several films; in 1962 he starred alongside Thora Hird in the northern drama A Kind of Loving, the following year he joined Rachel Roberts and Richard Harris in This Sporting Life, in 1964 he joined Thora Hird and Harry H. Corbett in Rattle of A Simple Man 1968 Charlie Bubbles. with Albert Finney and Liza Minnelli. Various others were Privilege, Far From the Madding Crowd, Billy Liar, Death of Angels, Up Jumped A Swagman, Get Carter, Where The Bullets Fly, and Diamonds for Breakfast. His TV career included Dr Who, The Saint, Crossroads, and the Avengers. He played 'Alf Roberts' on "Coronation Street" from 1961 till Jan 1999. He was awarded the OBE and has a street named after him, "Alfred Roberts Wind."
