Henry Carroll “Buster” Manning, age 91 of Wirtz, VA passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at his home. He was born May 11, 1927 to the late Brice Manning and Blanche Smith Manning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and seven brothers. Buster retired from Lane Furniture with 37 years of service. He was a farmer all his life. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 67 years, Daisy Ann Dillon Manning; two daughters, Mitzi Joyce Manning Smith (John Knott), Derinda Gail Mays (Donald); two sons, Carroll Dale Manning, Douglas Edward Manning (Betty) and one brother, Wayne Manning. Also surviving are six grandsons, eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several step grand and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Town Chapel) with Pastor Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Brooks-Manning Family Cemetery. Family will be receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home,
