Marion Dixon of Lorain, Ohio went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 surrounded by her family who loved her and will miss her dearly.
She was born January 23, 1932 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Robert and Ethel Robenolt. Marion lived in Youngstown, Ohio until settling in Lorain in 1980.
Marions family and friends meant the world to her, but not as much as her Lord Jesus. She truly enjoyed every minute she could get with every family member, from her husband, all the way down to her great great grandkids. She loved fishing and would go every chance she could get. She loved family dinners, holidays and having lunch dates with her friends. Marion was loved by so many and was known to be a spunky lady who gave everyone a whack on the arm to remind them that she loved them. She loved playing her harmonica, guitar, bongos and her banjo. Survivors include her amazing husband of sixty-five years Raymond; her daughters Marion (Richard) Stanton, Sharon (Charles) Norman and Rayan (Carl) Cales, all of Lorain; her grandchildren Raymond Cooksey, Angela (Terry) Miller, Lynn (Teddy) Meilander, Mandy (Keith) Krueck, Joseph (Dawn) Dixon, Robert Hopwood, Dustin (Patsy) Norman, Stefan (Gwen) Cales, Wesley Cales, Bret (Samantha) Cales; her great grandchildren Kara Cooksey, Brian (aka Boomer) (Cassandra) Miller, Autumn Miller, Dakota (Courteney) Miller, Crystal Meilander, Jazmin Holder, Savannah Holder, Brandon Krueck, Sharon Krueck, Desire (Richard) Fender, Heavyn Norman, Isabella Norman and Jade Norman; her great great grandchildren Bentley Miller, Marley Miller, Gabriel Miller, Landin Krueck, Ashlynn Krueck, Samual Cales, Mallory Cales, Madison Cales, Liam Cales and Oliver Cales, and many nieces and nephews. Her treasured pet dogs, Bear and Mocha. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ethel Robenolt, her brothers Thomas Robenolt, John Robert, Robert Robenolt and Leslie Reese, her sister Alice Mae Robenolt and grandson Billy Ray Hopwood. Funeral services held at Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst. Burial at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
