Janetta C. Smith, nee Killgrove, age 94, of Mascoutah, IL, born August 3, 1924 in Percy, IL, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Mar-Ka Nursing Home in Mascoutah.
Janetta was a homemaker and above all, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was an avid QVC shopper and loved playing bingo.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Russell D. Ramsey and Thomas V. Smith, her parents, Lyman and Sylvia Ann (nee Bowerman) Killgrove, a step-daughter, Sonja D. Pyle; two brothers, Lyman (Warren) Killgrove and George (Bucky) Killgrove and two sisters, Betty Little and Vivian Schweizer.
Janetta is survived by a son, Dennis S. (Karen) Ramsey of Florida; two daughters, Nancy Burrows of Sparta, IL and Jan (Augie) Mueth of Mascoutah, IL; a step-son, Thomas R. (June) Ramsey of Florida; one sister, Madelyn Hammack of Mountain View, MO, 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, IL.
