Red Lion - Glenn R. Robinson of Red Lion, entered into God's care on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 8:25 pm at his residence, with his family by his side, at the age of 87. He was born in York on September 10, 1930 and was the son of the late Joseph W. and Elizabeth (Mitzel) Robinson.

Glenn was a longtime member of Fawn Grove United Methodist Church, and later attended Bethel UM Church. He was a member of the Craley Fish and Game, Yellow Breeches, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He worked at Pennsylvania Power and Light Company , as a lineman, for 41 years, retiring in 1992. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

He was a loving father to Robin S. Fitzkee and her companion Ronnie Eaton of Red Lion, and a grandfather to Nicole L. Colyer and husband Clint of Brogue, and Nathan D. Fitzkee of East Prospect, as well as a great grandfather to Mya, Max, Mitchell, Chloe, and Sophia. He also has numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter, Delores Zink in December of 2010, and a son in law, Keith Fitzkee in 2002.

Viewings for Glenn will be on Sunday, September 9th from 6-8 pm and Monday, September 10th from 9-10 am at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise will begin at 10 am at the funeral home with his pastor, Kim Cartright and his former pastor, Jane Harrison of Fourth UM Church in York, officiating. Burial will be at Bethel UM Cemetery with full military rites offered by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.

Glenn was a very kind, considerate and caring man. He was always willing to help others in need, but most of all to be there for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Until we meet again you will be in our hearts forever.
