Pamela James Welch, 64, entered into rest on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Doctors Hospital Of Augusta.

Pamela was born in Augusta, Georgia to the late Abner "Buddy" Gilbert and Frances Ruth James. She was a payroll clerk with Augusta Truck Sales for over 18 years. As a very loving person, and when her health allowed, she did volunteer work at the Senior Citizen Center and Grovetown Elementary. She enjoyed doing crafts, but most of all, she loved her family.

Survivors include her children, Anthony James and Alisha Brantley (Josh); her sister, Connie Penrow (Johnny); two grandchildren, Nikki Welch and Anabelle Brantley. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Debbie Maddox.

If so desired, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Starling-Evans Funeral Home with A Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Michael Hullum officiating.
