Richard R. Richardson, 92, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on October 28, 1925; son of the late Fred and Myrtle Tomlinson Richardson. He was a member of Malvin Hill Baptist Church, and enjoyed fishing when he was younger. He was proud to have served in the United States Army during WWII.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jewell Calhoun Richardson; grandchildren, Rick Richardson, Melody Richardson, and Mark Richardson; five siblings, Wayne Richardson, Vernis Meece, Donald Richardson, Bobby Richardson, and Lorraine Stogsdill; and three great-grandchildren, Eriq Richardson, Chelsea Richardson, and Blake Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Wendell Richardson; two brothers, Clinton Richardson and Junior Richardson.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 10, 2018 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Donavon Smith officiating.
Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
Burial will be in Malvin Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 PM Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
