Noel Victor Phillips, Jr., age 65, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Sunday, September 2, 2018, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, on July 17, 1953, to Noel Victor Phillips, Sr., and Ruth McKinney Phillips. Noel was a 1972 graduate of Harrison County High School, a member of Indian Creek Christian Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge St. Andrew's No. 18 for 25 years and owner and operator of The Earth Movers of Cynthiana. Noel was a family man and great friend. He would do anything for anyone.

He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Barbara Duckworth Phillips. Besides his parents, he was survived by: his wife of 20 years, Judy Ankeny Phillips; three sons, Jim (Joy) Howard, Jake Howard and Seth (Stephanie) Ankeny; a daughter, Holly (Wayne) Glenn; a brother, Harold Phillips; two sisters, Brenda (Jerry) Dennis and Judy (Terry) Hill; five grandchildren, Gracie Glenn, Hunter Glenn, Owen Howard, Wyatt Howard and Boone Ankeny; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, at Indian Creek Christian Church by Pastor Ernie Perry and Marty Ritchie. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the church, with a Masonic Lodge service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: the Central Kentucky Antique Machinery Association, 248 Wilson Avenue, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031; or Indian Creek Christian Church, 51 Waits Road, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031; or Relay For Life, Attn: Harrison County RFL, 1504 College Way, Lexington, Kentucky 40502. Pallbearers will be Wayne Glenn, John Phillips, Jr., John Arnold, Bradley Dennis, Buddy Perraut, Billy Phillips, Jimmy Shields, Charlie Schroder and Beach Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Garrison, Mark Patrick, Joe Sowder, Junie Pierce, Steve Swinford, Tom Vallandingham, B. Moore, Darrell Duckworth, Phillip Dennis and Bill Willey.
