A graduate of Parkland High School, class of 1962, he was a member of the varsity basketball and baseball teams. In 1966, he graduated from Moravian College with a B.A. in Economics, Business Administration and Accounting. Richard was a self-employed motorsport consultant regarding facilities for drive enthusiasts since 1991. Prior to that, he served as co-owner and C.E.O. of operations, with his family, of the former Ice City, Inc. in Allentown from 1958 – 1993. Richard was a former member of the National Spa & Pool Institute, the Porsche Club of America, and the Ferrari Club of America.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Barbara; son, Richard W. Muller III and his wife, Kerry and grandchildren, Alex and Avery of Schnecksville; son, Darren J. Muller of Wyomissing; brothers, Thomas J. Muller of Macungie, Barry W. Muller and his wife, Debbie of Schnecksville.
Service: A memorial service will be held 10:30 am. Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 8:30 – 10:30 am. Tuesday, in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Heidelberg Union Cemetery, Slatington.
