Beverly L. Parkhurst, 74, a former resident of 336 County Route 51, died on May 4 at St. Luke Health Services. Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Christy and Doris Malone and George and Doris Fradenburg, and was a graduate of the Oswego High School. Mrs. Parkhurst had been employed with General Electric in Syracuse, the New York Telephone Company, and Nestle's in Fulton. She later worked as a home health aide through the Oswego Hospital, and had done volunteer work for the Oswego County Hospice. She was a former Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, and loved taking care of her cats. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, snowmobiling, cooking and canning. Surviving are two daughters, Linda (Douglas Coe) Davis of Scriba, and Patricia Parkhurst of New Haven, three sons, Robert L. Parkhurst and Douglas Parkhurst, both of New Haven, and Danny (Susan Hays) Parkhurst of North Syracuse, three sisters, Sharon Carr of Adams Center, Kerry (Bert) Barnes of Scriba, and Jan Humphrey of Syracuse, a brother, George Fradenburg of Plattsburg, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Robert R. Parkhurst of New Haven. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 from the United Baptist Church of Scriba. Burial will be in North Scriba Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Cotributions may be made in memory of Beverly Parkhurst, Office of the Aging, 70 Bunner Street,Oswego N.Y. 13126
