Child Dies In Turkey
DAILY NEWS BUREAU
VALPARAISO -- Robin Morrison, nine-year-old daughter of Maj. and Mrs. Daniel D. Morrison, former Valparaiso residents now stationed in Turkey died in an accident Thursday, while on a holiday visit to Rhodes, a Greek island in the Aegian Sea. She accidentally fell out of a window in a hotel.
Maj. and Mrs. Morrison and their family lived here for six years while he was assigned to Hurlburt Field. They left Valparaiso last spring for Izmir, Turkey, Maj. Morrison's new duty station.
The body is being brought to Valparaiso for funeral services and interment. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Valparaiso Community Church with the Reverend Ricard Adelman officiating. Burial will in Sunset Cemetery. Other survivors are a brother, Eric, and two sisters, Lisa and Joslyn.
