Meritta F. Browder, 57, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at her residence.

Meritta was a sweet, loving and caring daughter, mother, grandmother and sister who always put others first. She was an awesome cook who enjoyed making cookies and fudge for her family over the holidays. Christmas was her favorite season of the year.

Meritta was a founding member of the Browders and she was proud of her sons’ accomplishments in Southern Gospel Music. She was especially fond of her grandchildren.

Meritta was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Bombailey and her brother, Michael Bombailey.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Pauline Moore; sons, Matthew Browder (Sonya), David Browder (Kimberly); grandchildren, Elijah, Ethan and Sadie Browder; sisters, Teresa Daniell (Tom Bartley), Sheila Bombailey and Sandra Bombailey; brother, Gabriel Bombailey; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 11:00 am-12:45 pm at Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with her son, Matthew Browder officiating. Music will be provided by the Browders.

A Graveside Service will follow at Elm Springs Cemetery, Hawkins County, TN.

The care of Meritta F. Browder and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
