n September 3, 2018, Heaven received another Angel, Connie Rae Johnson Pierce, 81 years old. Connie was born in Provo, Utah on February 11, 1937 to Samuel Rell and Phyllis Pyne Johnson. She was the oldest of 6 children.

Connie and her sister Darlene played a guitar on the radio when they were growing up.

She met Myron L. Pierce while waiting on him as a waitress. They were married on April 24, 1958 in the Manti Temple. They had 5 children.

She loved to crochet, quilt and sew. She had a green thumb and could grow and plant indoor.

Connie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And served in the Primary for more than 40 years.

She is survived by her children Douglas Pierce of Milford, Susan (Thomas) McGinnis of Milford, Rose Blake of Milford, 2 daughters-in-law, 11 grandchildren, brother Sam Johnson of Lyman, WY and sister Donna (Orson) Pead of Star Valley, WY. She is preceded in death by her husband, Myron Lisonbee Pierce, sons Myron Lee “Buzz” Pierce, Richard Wesley Pierce and one grandson, Brian Lee McGinnis.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Huntington 1st Ward, 115 South 400 East, Huntington, Utah at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the Huntington Cemetery entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home.
