Carolyn Moulse Franklin, 77, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
She was retired from the American Red Cross and was a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Irene Moulse; and brother, Larry Moulse.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, Russell Eugene Franklin; her daughters, Teresa Witten and husband, T.J. Witten, and Michelle Pizarro and husband, Tom Pizarro; siblings, Norma Gardner (the late Troy Gardner), Buddy Moulse (Debbie), Phyllis Cochran (Bill), Tommy Moulse, Bonnie Coffman (Steve), Sharon Proffit (Gerald), Brenda Thomas (Raymond), and Chuck Moulse; grandchildren, Jeff Witten, Cassie Witten, Maria Pizarro and Nate Pizarro; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Oakey’s South Chapel. A Viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Cave Spring Baptist Church with the Funeral Service beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor Pete Schemm will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
