Thomas M. Bailey, 67, of Caldwell Route 1, died yesterday at his home.
He was born Jan. 15, 1896, at Sherwood, Ore. He grew up in Oregon and married Maxine Kern Oct. 15, 1924, at Burns, Ore. They lived at Diamond, Ore, until 1954, when they moved to Caldwell where they had since resided.
Mrs. Bailey died April 4, 1963, at Caldwell.
Mr. Bailey was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Radio Church of God.
Survivors include three sons, Robert, Burns, Ore., Fred and Walter, Diamond, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Colleen Hutcheon, Jamison, Ore., and Mrs. Libby Schaefer, Tripps, S.D.; five sisters, Mrs. Ket Meeks, Mrs. Inez Rinehart and Gertie Fredricks, all of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Ruby Smith, California, and Mrs. Pearl Trembly, Ocean Lakes, Ore.; a brother, Wayne B. Bailey, Vale, Ore., and 11 grandchildren. A son, Tom, preceded him in death June 27, 1958.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. The Rev. Robert Reed will officiate. Interment will be in Canyon Hill.
