Jeffrey Stephen Malone, age 56 years, of Carver, formerly of Pembroke, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Jordan Hospital, Plymouth, after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Worcester, a son of Barbara E. (Smith) Malone and the late Robert F. Malone. He was a 1971 graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School and Control Data Institute. He was a computer analyst for Ratheon and a subcontractor for the U.S. Government. He belonged to the Civil Air Patrol.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara E. Malone of Carver; two brothers, Robert Malone Jr. of Pembroke and Brian Malone of Hanover; two sisters, Donna Barilaro of Hanover, Cheryle Volta of Plymouth; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Kidney Foundation, 85 Vernon St., Norwood, MA 02062, would be greatly appreciated. Private funeral arrangements were handled by the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, and burial took place at Central Cemetery, Carver.
