Marilyn Genevieve "Jenny" Fox, age 72, of Falmouth, Kentucky, died Saturday, September 1, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. She was born in Bracken County, Kentucky, on April 10, 1946, to the late James Emmitt and Geneva Clayton Poe. Mrs. Fox was retired from Grant's Lick Veterinary Hospital, where she was the head receptionist.
She is survived by: her husband of 51 years, Tom Fox, who she married June 24, 1967; her children, Deanna (Kirk) Perkins, of West Chester, Ohio, and Tommy (Anna) Fox, of Okeana, Ohio; her grandchildren, Emily Perkins, Kyle Raleigh, Kristian Perkins, Eric Raleigh, David Raleigh, Madison Fox and Hayden Fox; and her siblings, Delmar Poe, Mae Sorrell and Vanessa Carr. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by: her brothers, James Halford Poe, Mike Poe, Shelby Poe and Donnie Poe; and her sister, Dee Golfman.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6, at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, in Brooksville, Kentucky. Burial will be at Johnsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
