Mark Jr. Dean, age 75, of Morning View, KY, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 3, 2018 at his residence. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for Bode Finn and a U.S. Navy Veteran. Mark enjoyed drag racing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. His father, Mark Dean, Sr. and step-father, Paul Lay preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, of nearly 50 years, Minnie Reed Dean; daughters, Tammy Dean, Margie Dean Hickerson (Thom), and Markeeta Moore (Tyler); mother, Cleo Abercrombie; and grandchildren, Scarlet Dean, Roman McNeese, Bobby Fox, and Ashley Mays. Visitation will be Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 8 p.m. at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Interment with military honors will be Friday at 12 noon at KY Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.
