She was born in South Williamson, Kentucky and was preceded in death by her parents, Ranal and Marcella Bevins White; a son, Todd White; brothers, Estel and Jerry White; sisters, Hazel Prater and Trena Evans.

She is survived by siblings, Randall White (Frances), Lawrence White (Mary), Timothy White, Brenda Hitchcock (Chris), Marlene Tackett (Roy) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
