Beaver, David J. age 73, of Lakeville, passed away Saturday, November 25 after a long, hard-fought battle with Alzheimer's. Dave is survived by his loving wife, Lynette, of 44 years; sons, Jason (Julie) of Maple Grove and Patrick (Mariah) of Fargo; grandchildren, Michaela, Chelsea, Copland and Ellison; brother, Steve; sisters, Gretchen (Dale) and Nancy (Rob); brother-in-law, Cary and sisters-in-law Wendy (Keith) and Patty and many nieces and nephews. Dave was an avid bowler, enjoyed fishing, and loved coaching his boys' soccer teams. In particular, he loved reminiscing about his favorite car, a blue 1969 Chevelle SS with a black vinyl top. He was a member of the elder board at New Beginnings Christian Church and enjoyed participating in bible study with a small group of friends. The family would like to thank EVERYONE involved in the care of Dave (dad) over the past several years including Wendy, Patty, Steve, Senior Helpers, the staff at Arbor Lane in Burnsville and Fairview Hospice. Each of you are heroes in our eyes and we consider your care, encouragement and friendship a huge blessing! We are eternally grateful! Thank you! Visitation and funeral for Dave was held at Hosanna! Lutheran Church, Lakeville. Interment will be at Valley Cemetery, Shakopee.
