Gregory Scott Chandler, age 52 of Ruston, LA passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Shreveport, LA peacefully with a smile on his face with his wife, Tammy Wright by his side. He is preceded in death by his father, Otto “Toby” Chandler; mother, Ethel “Anne” Taylor and his brother, Russell Chandler.

Greg is survived by his wife, Tammy Wright; daughters: Kayla Wright, Kristyn Wright and Kammi Smith; granddaughter, Leona Rae Wright; nieces: Caren Chandler Wood and Jodi Walding; nephew, Dustin Walding and numerous extended family and friends.

Greg was an artist. He tattooed for 30 plus years and loved what he did. He mentored many in the trade of art. He was also a husband, father, grandfather and he may have been one of the funniest people you would meet. No matter what was happening he would make you laugh.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Rock Corner Cemetery in Dubach with Rev. Larry Bullock officiating under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston. As Greg would say it “Let’s get this freak show on the road.”
