Robert Easton died peacefully two days after his 93rd birthday, surrounded by his family. Bob grew up in Snohomish, raised his family in Seattle, and retired to Guemes Island, and then Chandlers Square in Anacortes. He served in Europe in World War II and spent much of his career in carpet sales and, later, tax preparation.

He was predeceased by Laurel, his wife of 60 years, who died in 2008. Bob is survived by his five children; Randy (Bonnie), Greg (Valerie), Bill (Tomi), Tom (Karen), Margo Bennett (Gary) and seven grandchildren.

Bob loved jazz, Husky football, the Mariners, model railroads, and especially his family and many friends.

No public memorial is planned. Remembrances may be sent to Hospice of the Northwest.
