George Deets, 55, died this morning at his home, 12 Liberty Avenue, after a short illness.
Mr. Deets was born near here, February 10, 1876, (sic) and had resided in this vicinity all his life. He was an employee of the Bessemer railroad shops.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Hope Deets, a stepson, Milton Hope, and a step-daughter, Mrs. C. E. Beatty, all of Greenville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. from the late home with Rev. P. J. Dundore, of the Zion's Reformed church, Deets' pastor, officiating.
Burial will be made in Shenango Valley cemetery.
