Danny Ray Green, age 68 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2018, surrounded by his family. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War . He retired from Pease Furniture Co. after 45 years. He was an avid Nascar Fan and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; father, Paul Edward Green, Sr., brother and sister-in-law, Donnie (Joyce) Green, brother-in-law, Jack Cogdill, grandparents, Cecil (Beatrice) Morgan and Andy (Sally) Green.
Survived by daughter, Dana (Thomas) Dockery, grandchildren; Whitney, Taylor, Kam and great grandson, Baker, Mother, Jeanette Green, brother, Paul "Eddie" Green Jr., sisters; Linda (Paul) Crisp, Kathy Cogdill (Mike Gibson), Brenda (Bert) Norris, Jeanie (Joel) Fields, Special Nieces and Nephews; Paula, Donna, Donnie, Derek, Christy, Leslie, Jeremiah, Ronnie, Amy, Gabriel, Sarah and Zachary, several great nieces, nephews and special friends; Greg (Sandy) Snyder, Benny (Judy) Snyder.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Berry Highland South, 9010 Simpson Rd. Knoxville, TN. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00am at Berry Highland South Cemetery with Brother Judd Bowers officiating with military honors to follow.
