Dana W. Love, III, passed suddenly while at work on March 31, 2005. "Bubba" as he was known to his family and friends was born September 14, 1964, and graduated Irmo High School, Irmo, SC. He spent 6 years in the U.S. Navy. He attended Rice Aviation where he received his A&P License. He was presently employed by VIT in Portsmouth. Bubba was an avid mechanic and electrician who enjoyed garage parties and NASCAR with his friends and family who will sorely miss him and his intoxicating smile. He is survived by his loving wife Denise; his two sons, John (8) and Michael (5); his mother and father, Dana and Bea Love of Isle of Palms, SC; his sister and husband, Cathy and Ray Anderson of Edgewood, FL; his brother and wife, John and Gina Love of Florence, SC; grandmother, Marie Love of Morristown, TN; his father and mother-in-law, Dudley and Carolyn King of Chesapeake, VA; his brother-in-law, Brian and Terri Spicer of Suffolk, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends. He has 5 nieces and 3 nephews. A funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel with Rev. Tom Potter officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the family on behalf of his children.
