Faith Ellen Cardell Davis, 77, of Lakeland, Florida, and formerly Plant City, born February 19, 1942 in Tampa, entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2018. She loved her family, and enjoyed ceramics, fishing, watching westerns and soaps, talking on the phone, and attending the WalMart ladies breakfast group. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jake Nichols, Jimmy Cardell, and Alford Davis; daughter, Mary Ellen Manning; and grandson, Benjamin Douglas Cole. She is survived by her children, Stephanie Phipps (John) of Sanford, Bruce DeBore (Dawn) of Sanford, Debra Crooks (Butch), Harold Nichols of Auburndale, and Lorrie Smith (Buddy) of Lakeland; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Toni Nichols of Lakeland, Ina Cantu (Joe) of California, Wanda Rodriguez (Johnny) of New York, Rilda Viele of Tampa, Linwood Crain of Tampa, and Richard Crain (Providence) of Lake Wales; and dogs, Pluto and Gidget. A service will be held on Tuesday, September 4 at 3:00 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 S County Road 39, Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 P.M.Committal to follow at Hopewell Memorial Gardens, Plant City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org and/or Good Shepherd Hospice at chaptershealth.org.
