PHOENIX - Deborah Clemons, 48, of Phoenix, formerly of Springfield, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at her home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1953, in Springfield, the daughter of John and Lois Reynolds McDonald. She married Dave Clemons in 1973 in Springfield.
Mrs. Clemons owned and operated Clemons Dance Studios in Springfield for many years and worked for America West Airlines for more than 16 years. She was an active participant in Copper Coin Ballet, Springfield Muni Opera and the Theater Guild in Springfield. She was an active supporter of numerous charities including the American Cancer Society.
Survivors: husband, Dave; parents, John and Lois McDonald of Springfield; two nieces; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Bisch Funeral Home West, the Rev. Tom Swantner officiating. Inurnment: Auburn City Cemetery.
