Born in Northampton, MA she was the daughter of the late Helen O’Reilly and was a long time resident of Stonington.
Pat was a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, MA and obtained a master in Library Science from the University of Rhode Island. She was a Librarian for many years with the Groton Public Library where she retired in 1995.
Pat was a voracious reader and life long learner. She had many interests including a love of adventure and travel, having met her husband in Indonesia while teaching, to rounding the globe multiple times; to playing tennis and golf, drinking wine and eating good food (especially ice cream!). She loved and was loved.
Pat was predeceased by her two sisters, Dottie O’Connell and Peggy Stephens and by her long time companion Charlie Lathrop.
